POIFECT

Bmac responds:

thanks dadwarlus

So, you kinda just animated a nerd talking to the screen.
He mentions that he's trying to catch a Moltres, but that's never shown.
just a dude talking to the screen, moving his arms a little.
In this case, the animation didn't add anything to the audio clip, and to be completely honest, I think the audio clip is funnier on it's own.

Horsenwelles responds:

the premise is to animate the letsplayer's quote. its basicially a reaction shot, and its not specificially supposed to add to the clip besides the visual representation of it.

i know defending such a hollow premise is pointless, but it is the point of the series, and in terms of what it is, people outside NG seem to like it (youtube and DA) because it is in a context they understand and appreciate.

thank you for your opinion though =)

It's time you choose ONE thing to specialise in.

Honestly, if you're gonna try this hard to make it look like a machinima, why not just make an actual machinima? I really think that's just a convenient excuse to poop out super lazy content. You say you're doing it this way to focus more on the story, but the story is just... pointless. Why did the guy with the red hair need that power? The very first scene establishes that he's a competent fighter. I can tell you'll retort with something to the effect of "Because THEY couldn't beat the hackers". If they as a group couldn't handle it, why would only one character gain these abilities? It really is just bad pretty much all around. The art isn't engaging, the characters are all minor variations of eachother, and watching it made me feel like a fucking idiot. Please let this sink in: the humour was intended to be so accessible for young kids, that there isn't anything left for older ages to enjoy-- I actually felt stupid while watching this, it's insulting. Please hire a new writer, You've managed to show me time and time again that you many be impressive to all the little middle-school kids who frequent this site, but your writing/dialogue/concepts are very under-developed. And from what I can tell, you're just not in a place to be writing. Like, this is a reboot of some shit you made years ago, right? I've noticed that less capable writers latch onto the stories they created in their youth, because that's probably the high-point of their imaginativeness, and ingenuity. Further proof of this, is how many parodies you do. It's like you're totally incapable/unwilling to use your own intellectual property. If you think about it, this is a parody/tribute/expansion to that older series, and even with this being the most original thing you've ever produced, it's still pretty cliché in not only the premise, but also in the characters and the plot. I honestly, truly, sincerely think you need to pick ONE aspect of creating content, rather than being kinda bad at everything. You lack focus.

2/10, because I feel the co-authors shouldn't be lumped together with your naivety.

Haha

Look at all of these touchy faggots.
RIP Steve Appleman.

Eh.

You dwelled on each joke for so long, that none of them managed to be funny.
This legitimately felt like listening to that unfunny kid rambling on for hours trying to make people laugh. Also, the paper background is unoriginal, and kind of a poor excuse to hide that this is pretty much an animatic. Keep trying, though!

pffff

Totally seen this kind of thing before, and yours doesn't really deserve any praise. OMG I'M SUCH A TROLL. LIKE, LOL.

So good.

I really loved how unnecessary all of the characters movements were. I was laughing all the way through.

WOO NICE

I liked this a lot! But I really think you overused the hyper realism faces. They should be used sparingly for effect. I feel like some of the jokes could have been delivered better if they were drawn in regular cutesy style.

I've always loved your stuff

This may be weird to say, but the part that made me laugh for like five minutes, was when Max was straining to say "Johnny?"

Remember that there'll always be one person anxiously awaiting your next endeavor!

Bobert-Rob responds:

Yeah, and I'm one of em'! It sucks not having anything out for awhile. It's hard to work on things I'm not inspired to, though. Still, heres to hoping there's more soon! :D

Oh, and thanks, glad ya liked it!

I've seen these before

But the're much stronger working together, and they were good before!
